The Solar Radiation Group from the University of Valencia was created in the 90's. The group currently involves 15 people, including professors, postdocs and pre-doctoral students. The main research lines are: 1) UV radiation measurements at ground; 2) columnar, vertical, and in-situ aerosol properties; 3) cloud-aerosol interaction; 4) aerosol radiative forcing. It has participated in several international campaigns over the years, including ESA validation campaigns: SIFLEX, SEN2FLEX, SPARC, SAVEX-D, and others. It coordinates the SKYNET network in Europe (ESR) in close collaboration with the ISAC-CNR in Italy (Dr. Monica Campanelli).
